Flightdeck is an independent cockpit explorer for Android, iPhone and iPad, provided by Choose My Electric llc.
The overhead operates offline. Flightdeck contains no advertising, analytics SDKs or tracking and does not require an account. Sound and night-lighting preferences are stored on your device.
If you choose an external reference, it opens in your browser and the website’s own privacy practices apply. If you choose an optional Beta flight-data lookup, the flight number or airports you enter are sent to the selected public data provider. Network providers receive the technical information normally included in a web request, such as an IP address. Optional live radio can request a foreground approximate location fix when you tap Use my location. Flightdeck does not access your microphone, camera or contacts.
Flightdeck does not send cockpit selections or locally entered flight plans to Choose My Electric. Device backups and store diagnostics are controlled by your device and store settings.

Coordinates stay in memory on your device and are used locally to choose nearby approved receivers. They are not sent to us or included in audio requests. You can choose an airport or clear location instead. Receiver URLs you add are stored on this device. When you start a permitted live feed, its operator receives your IP address and ordinary playback requests. Audio stops when Flightdeck pauses. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
Optional digital upgrades are processed by Google Play on Android and Apple’s App Store on iOS. Flightdeck does not receive your payment-card details. The app checks store-provided ownership and stores the verified purchase record on your device to support offline access and restore. Store purchase and refund records are handled by the applicable store under its privacy policy.
If you download navigation data, GitHub and its download providers receive your IP address and ordinary download requests. The database remains in the app’s private storage. No flight plans or cockpit selections are sent to Choose My Electric for purchase verification.
